Privacy

This notice covers repetium.com and its waitlist form.

Data and purposes

  • Website: Hetzner Online GmbH hosts this website in Germany. Hetzner and Cloudflare, Inc. process your IP address, requested URL, access time and browser details to run and protect it.
  • Waitlist: Infomaniak (Switzerland) uses your email address, chosen language and signup verification data to send Repetium news and launch updates and prevent abusive signups. Joining is optional. I need your email address to send these messages.
  • Contact: I use your contact details and messages to reply. Infomaniak (Switzerland) handles my email.
  • Analytics: I use Umami, hosted in Switzerland, and Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure use and improve the website. They process page visits, referrers, device and browser details, and performance data. They do not set analytics cookies. Their servers receive connection data, including your IP address.
  • Theme: Your theme choice stays in your browser for the tab's session. Choosing "System" clears it.

Under the GDPR, I process waitlist data with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). I process data for website operation, security and analytics based on my legitimate interests in running and improving Repetium (Article 6(1)(f)). I process enquiries based on my legitimate interest in answering them. When processing is necessary to prepare or fulfil a contract, Article 6(1)(b) applies.

Processing abroad

Cloudflare processes data in the United States and the countries on its network page and subprocessor list. Its data processing terms set out transfer safeguards under the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Retention and rights

I keep waitlist contact data until you unsubscribe or I close the waitlist. I keep enquiries while I handle them and for any necessary follow-up. I keep connection data as needed for security and troubleshooting. The law may require me to keep data longer.

Email me for access to your data, correction, deletion, restricted processing or portability. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw waitlist consent by email or the unsubscribe link. This does not affect earlier lawful processing. You can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or the relevant EU supervisory authority.
